Volunteer Opportunities
We are delighted that you are considering volunteering with the Brooklin-Whitby Garden Club. There are a number of committees that need volunteers throughout the year; however please do not hesitate to contact us even if you can only help during a set period of time. All help is very welcome!
Civic Beautification - Brooklin Horticultural Society Park
- Park of Reflection
- Station Gallery
- King Street Cooperative Community Garden
Corporate Membership October/November – visiting local businesses (with Committee Member) to renew memberships, sign up new members. February – help deliver yearbooks to Corporate Partners.
General Membership Assist from time to time at the Membership Desk.
Draw Ticket Sales Assist at the Ticket Sales Desk.
Flower Shows Assist in setting up, clerking and general assistance during the Shows.
Hospitality Assist with the setup of the Hospitality table or donate something sweet or savory for one of the monthly meetings.
Newsletter This is where you can put your writing, photographs, and computer talents to use.
Plant Sale Contribute Plants, assist with set-up, assist with sales and plant expertise as require
Special Events Brooklin Harvest Festival, and more.
Garden Visits You are willing to have your garden open for visits by other members.
Social Media Maintain our Facebook site.
Technical Support Provide assistance at monthly meetings with any of the following: Zoom meetings, PowerPoint slide shows, sound & lighting.
