November 2023 AGM

On November 22, BWGC members attended our Annual General Meeting and Social. We enjoyed a buffet of sweet an savory selections. New this year... "Gardening Unbounded", where we visited the booths of horticultural specialists and botanical inspired artists: Franca from Blooming Crate (thebloomingcrate.com),  Stacey from Bridlebrook Farm Flowers (bridlebrookfarmflowers.ca), Bruce Aiken, sub-terra watering for raised planters; Catherine Mills - Painter (catherinemillsartist.com); Ingrid Janssen - Master Gardener, winter sowing; Paulette Goulard - Ceramicist ([email protected]). We started the meeting off with the introduction of our guests and welcome from President Hans Paats, along with club business, we also elected our 2024 Board of Directors. Our Show Committee presented this year’s award winners with their trophies. Rahe presented Hans with a gift form the Board of Directors to thank him for his dedication as President and Hans passed the gavel to Rahe, our 2024 President. At the end of the evening, some great draw prizes were handed out!
