All specimen classes are OPEN; you may enter TWO ITEMS but they must be different cultivars. Exception to this rule will be specified where applicable.

Section ‘C’ Fruits and Vegetables

  3. Beets, 1 cultivar (tops trimmed to 1.3 cm/0.5” above crown,
      leave root on).. 3 roots
  1. Broccoli, 1 cultivar (dense head, no sign of flowering)..... 1 head

Do not peel, only broken outer scales should be removed.
Neatly trim tops and remove roots just below the base.

  3. Squash, summer, 1 cultivar (stem left attached and trimmed)........................... 2 fruit

Shown for cultural perfection
For each class show 3 different plants or 3 different cultivars/varieties of the same plant species (NIP), container of choice.

Please provide the name(s) of plant material used in your design where possible.

  3. You create a title.... An interpretation of your own title. Display a title card
  4. “Soup’s On”..... Design Using Edibles in a soup pot of less than 20 cm/ 8”
  5. “Tapestry” .......... Pave design, max. of 45.7cm/ 12” in all directions
