Park of Reflection & Whitby in Bloom Garden Tour
The Park of Reflection was in its full blooming glory for the day of the Whitby in Bloom Garden Tour. The coneflowers were peaking & the day lilies were opening everywhere. The red & white annuals planted by BHS added pops of colour throughout the gardens.
Over the course of the day, we had almost four hundred visitors to the Park. Surprisingly, many had not known that the Park was there. Even more surprising, many did not realize that Cullen Park was there, open as a public park for all to enjoy.
One of our last visitors of the day was the designer of the Park. He was most pleased to see the park looking so beautiful. For our next newsletter, we hope to have a copy of his artist conceptual design to share with you.
Thanks to our BHS volunteers who were at the Park on the day of the tour; Eileen Humphries, Denise Carter, Marion Thomas & Leslie Tate.
